“Roots – A Year at Perry-Mansfield” is a collaborative exhibit completed in partnership with the 105 year-old Performing Arts Camp and landscape painter Chula Beauregard. After a year of artistic study at the 80-acre Perry-Mansfield Campus near Steamboat Springs, CO, Chula Beauregard created significant studio pieces to capture the pulse of the camp and its surroundings. Complimenting these artistic interpretations will be historic materials from Perry-Mansfield to illuminate their original vision for the camp: “Creative practice through art and nature manifests in an insightful, compassionate and courageous life” – PM Mission Statement.
